In order to properly enter medical data and avoid duplicate diagnostic and procedural entries, a list is maintained in regards to this type of data. Both tables have similar entry methods, so only the Intervention table will be used in this explanation. Select the 'Tools>Intervention' menu item from the top of the screen:

To enter a new procedure, fill in the blank fields on the left of the panel. The only obligatory data point is the 'Intervention' field (as indicated by the asterix). As you type data, the 'Add button' will dim. Pressing the 'return' key will allow Nopali to check that the new value is not a duplicate and light up the 'Add' button if everything checks out. Press the 'Add' button the make the new entry, which will appear on the table to the right of the panel.
You may also enter associated 'Code' data for a particular procedure. If you intend on using the U.S. Insurance module, then CPT Codes should be entered here. (In the Diagnosis table, you would enter ICD Codes).
Finally, you can enter the typical duration for a procedure. This information is used to find a time slot in the scheduler for a particular procedure. The duration should be entered in 'minutes'.
As you type data, the 'Add button' will dim. Pressing the 'return' key will allow Nopali to check that the data is correct and light up the 'Add' button if everything checks out. Press the 'Add' button the make the new entry, which will appear on the table to the right of the panel.
