To run the database
If you are looking to buy a dedicated computer for the Nopali database, we recommend a
nice new 17 inch iMac with 2G of RAM.
If you have an older Macintosh, the following applies: Processor: 1GHz G4 or G5 or Intel RAM: 1G or better OS: Mac OS X Tiger(10.4.8) or Leopard(10.5) Network: Internet connection
To connect to the database
You can use the same specs as above. You will also need a
functioning network in your office.
For connections using the internet, you will, of course,
require an internet connection.
Nopali doesn’t require any fancy equipment to run. It basically runs with computers from Apple and a few other peripherals:
17 inch iMac Computer with 2G RAM for the database
a bunch of other Macintosh Computers to connect to the
database. You can use iMacs, Mac-minis, MacPros,
Macbooks or any older computers running at least OS

a network in your office (router and ethernet connections)
an internet connection for your office
a color printer such as the Xerox Phaser
a backup power system for the database server like the
Belkin UPS
